Dr. Leann Andrews (PSU): Designing The Landscape for Action in One Health. “The built environment is recognized as an important determinant of human, animal, plant and environmental health. The design and management of landscapes including public spaces and green infrastructure can influence infectious and noncommunicable diseases, mental wellbeing, environmental exposures, biodiversity, and more. Dr. Leann Andrews will discuss how landscapes can be designed to proactively support One Health. Dr. Leann Andrews is practiced in landscape architecture, community engaged research and design, global health and ecological restoration. She is an Assistant Professor in Landscape Architecture and co-director of the One Health Scholars program at Penn State University, and co-founder of the design activism non-profit, Traction, working with underserved communities around the world to improve their environmental conditions and support One Health.”

40 min presentation followed by panel discussion / Q&A with Dr. Andrews, Dr. Matt Mutchler, Dr. Anne Frankel, and Clareigh Ellis.
