ADMINISTRATIVE COMMITTEE

DIRT & GRAVEL/LOW VOLUME ROADS PROGRAM QUALITY ASSURANCE BOARD (QAB)

  • This committee meets at 9:15 am on the first Wednesday of each month on an as needed basis at the District office and/or via Zoom remotely. Agendas will be posted on the BCCD website the day before a meeting is held. Electronic participation is available upon request. The next meeting will be held February 2, 2023 via zoom. TRAINING COMMITTEE

  • This committee meets on an as needed basis and takes on the following tasks: Developing workshops and training opportunities for either BCCD staff, or public participation such as municipal, engineers, agricultural community. Review Proposed Program Changes to Delegated Programs (E&S, NPDES, etc.), Review Upcoming Initiatives (Nutrient Trading, Storm Water, etc., for example). Goal – two or more training events per year.

EVENTS COMITTEE

  • This committee meets on an as needed basis and takes on the following tasks: General District Publicity and Public Relations, Board-Staff Joint Activities (Annual Dinner Meeting, Tours, etc.), Community Involvement, Coordination with State Agencies.

STRATEGIC PLANNING COMMITTEE

  • This committee meets on an as needed basis and takes on the following tasks: Review Long Range Plan and Annual Goals and Objectives, Update Plans as needed, Provide Recommendations to the Administrative Committee, Review Memoranda or Understanding and Various Delegation Agreements.

PERSONNEL COMMITTEE

  • This committee meets on an as needed basis and takes on the following tasks: Review BCCD personnel policies and procedures, develop or update as needed and make recommendations to the Board of Directors for adoption. Respond to staff concerns or interests, act as an intermediary between staff members, management, or in other ways as needed.

NATURAL RESOURCES COMMITTEE

  • This committee meets on an as needed basis and takes on the following tasks: Develop program and policy for the use of the District Water Quality Fund with the current goal of providing “mini-grants” to complete local water quality improvement projects throughout Bucks County.

AGRICULTURAL CONSERVATION ASSISTANCE (ACA) PROGRAM COMMITTEE

  • This committee was formed to develop BCCD policy for the ACA Program, to review submitted applications and to make recommendations for funding to the BCCD Board of Directors. The members conduct field visits when necessary and promote the BCCD ACA Program. The ACA Program Committee meets on an as needed basis on the first Tuesday of the month at 8:00 a.m. at the BCCD office. A zoom option is also offered.
